GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
Any content that you enter onto this website may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks and may involve changes in order to conform and adapt to the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or otherwise exploit for commercial gain, or otherwise, any portion of any of the content on the website or any other part of the service that we offer on this website.
Headings and titles used on this website are done so for convenience only. They do not constitute any part of the terms and conditions and will not limit or otherwise affect the terms herein.
ONLINE STORE TERMS
Our website offers a range of products and or services for sale. Where we refer to an 'item' we are referring to a single product or service available for purchase on this website.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that the details displayed for a particular item offered for sale are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system.
Whilst care is taken to ensure that we display as accurately as possible appearances, colours, textures or finishes, what you will see on your computer monitor or equipment may differ, and so we cannot guarantee that images are an accurate representation of the actual goods or services that you are purchasing.
We may not be able to accept your order due to one or more of the following reasons, or for a reason not listed below:
i) The item you have ordered is out of stock
ii) We cannot authorise your payment or have reasonable grounds to suspect your payment may be fraudulent
iii) There has been a pricing or product description error
iv) There is a system or procurement failure
v) You have failed our customer validation checks
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. This email is not confirmation that your order has been accepted by us.
Your order will only be accepted by us once your goods have been dispatched.
MODIFICATIONS TO OUR SERVICE AND PRICING
Prices for items are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to, at any time, modify or discontinue any part of the service that we offer, or any part of content thereof, without any notice to you.
We accept no liability to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of the service.
DELIVERY
We currently ship orders within the United Kingdom only.
Standard delivery is charged at £2.45 per order and is fulfilled via Royal Mail 2nd Class. The delivery aim for this service is 2–5 working days from dispatch, however, this is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
An upgraded delivery option is available at a cost of £4.99 per order, fulfilled via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Orders placed with upgraded delivery will be dispatched as soon as reasonably practicable.
All products are handmade to order. The standard dispatch timeframe is two (2) to three (3) working days from the date of order. This period includes the time required for production of the item(s) and for scheduling collection with Royal Mail. Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and may be extended during peak periods or in the event of postal service disruptions or delays beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery aims provided by Royal Mail (including 24hr and 48hr services) are not guaranteed timescales. We accept no liability for delays arising from courier services, rural delivery routes, severe weather, industrial action, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a customer elects to have an order delivered to a designated safe place (including but not limited to porches, sheds, garages, outbuildings, or with a neighbour), such delivery shall be deemed to constitute successful fulfilment of the order once confirmed as delivered by the courier. Seventy Seven Scents shall bear no liability for any loss, theft, damage, or non-receipt of goods following delivery to the designated safe place. By selecting a safe place delivery option, the customer accepts full responsibility for the security of the parcel upon delivery and waives any claim against Seventy Seven Scents in respect of missing or stolen items thereafter.
ORDER CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch only. If your order has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a return under our Returns Policy.
We strongly discourage refusal of delivery for dispatched orders. Refusal results in the parcel being returned through the postal network without tracking, which may significantly delay its return or, in some instances, result in loss. Customers wishing to return an order should accept delivery and then follow our Returns Policy to ensure the item is safely tracked back to us.
Due to the nature of our products (cosmetics and perfumes), we are unable to accept returns of items that have been opened, unsealed, or otherwise used. Returns will only be accepted where the product is completely unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage. Where items being returned exceed a value of £50, we recommend the use of a tracked postal service or the purchase of postal insurance. We shall not be liable for items lost in transit.
Refunds will only be issued once the returned goods have been received and inspected. Shipping costs are non-refundable. A restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price applies to all returns, as each item is handmade to order and resources are allocated specifically for each purchase. Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7 working days of receipt of the returned goods.
Sale items are strictly non-refundable. For the avoidance of doubt, orders placed using discount codes or promotional offers remain classified as full-price items and are therefore eligible for return under the standard Returns Policy.
Exchanges will only be provided where items are received defective, damaged, or lost in transit. Exchanges are not available for change of mind or customer preference.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
We shall not be liable for any direct, special, indirect or consequential or incidental damages including loss of profit or loss of opportunity as a result of the use of or the inability to use any items that have been ordered on this website.
You agree to indemnify us and our agents, officers, directors and employees, immediately and on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of any of our terms and conditions.
JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms and conditions combined with our published Privacy Policy (also available through this website) and Refund Policy (also available through this website) constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and us whether written or oral.
GENERAL
Should any part-term or term be found to be unenforceable then the remainder of the terms and conditions shall continue to have full force and effect as if the invalidated term was not present.
Should any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions arise where it is beyond our reasonable control, we will not be responsible to you for such delay or failure nor liable for any loss that you incur, howsoever caused.
